Brad Anderson’s Transsiberian

Brad Anderson, the director behind The Machinist, has got another project coming up.

Like he did on his earlier movie Session 9, he’ll be writing this one as well as working behind the camera. This one is called Transsiberian. It stars Emily Mortimer (Match Point), Woody Harrelson (A Scanner Darkly), and Sir Ben Kingsley (Lucky Number Slevin). It’s a murder mystery set aboard the Trans-Siberian Railway from China to Moscow.

Given how he handled the thriller aspect of The Machinist in a very Hitchcockian manner, I’ll be very excited for this one.
