Gugino is Silk Spectre

Confirming an earlier rumor, it has been announced that Carla Gugino will officially play Sally Jupiter, the first Silk Spectre, in the upcoming Zach Snyder directed adaptation of Watchmen. She is the mother of Laurie Juspeczyk, the Silk Spectre II, played by Harold and Kumar’s Malin Akerman.

I really need to get on reading this so I can be ready for the movie. And understand what all this casting means.
