During their press conference at the Tokyo Game Show earlier this week, Square Enix announced three new Kingdom Hearts games for various consoles. Here’s the info straight from 1UP:
While the PSP one sounds the coolest, I’ll definitely wind up getting the DS version since that’s what I have. It’s Kingdom Hearts—it’s gotta be good!

The Tokyo Game Show has kicked off overseas, and with it will come lots of cool new gaming news.
For now, here are a couple of new screenshots of Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii, showing off the recently announced characters of Diddy Kong and Meta Knight.

I’m not sure where it is, but apparently the ending video for Halo 3 has popped up online already. The game is released next week, and I’m sure many are upset over this.
Check out the full story over at 1UP.
I’ll probably play Halo 3, but I’ve only dabbled in the multiplayer in the past. Never played the actual story. And as far as the gameplay itself goes…I was never too impressed. It’s a first-person shooter. A good one, but that’s what it is.

Remember the Wii Zapper that was announced at E3? Well, we have some more news on it.
Firstly, it will hit shelves on November 19th. The whole package will retail for an SRP of $19.99. Whole package? Read on.
Secondly, it will come bundled with a game, a tactic that has worked well for Wii Play as well as the system itself.
The game, Link’s Crossbow Training, will be a standard light-gun style shooter with the following description from Nintendo’s press release:
Link’s Crossbow Training drops players into a world in the style of The Legend of Zelda®: Twilight Princess. Players assume the identity of hero Link, who progresses through a series of tests to perfect his crossbow marksmanship. Start with stationary bull’s-eyes and graduate to moving targets before defending Link against all kinds of enemies.
Well played, Nintendo.

What does this mean? It means that the developers have finished tweaking the game and that copies are being sent to the manufacturing plants.
Now all we have to do is wait until September 25th.

You may have already seen this on the Wii Ware download of the Metroid Prime 3 channel, where preview videos have been made available, but I thought I’d post a link for the rest of you.
A very ominous trailer (for anyone familiar with the series) for the game, which is released this Monday, is up over at Gametrailers.com.
It gives a man chills. I love it.

The latest rumor is indicating that Tim Schafer and the boys over at Double Fine Studios (the developers of sleeper hit Psychonauts), have a new project that could be starring…Jack Black?
That’s right. We could be playing as JB in an adventure game where a “rock ‘n roll roadie who dies goes goes to Hell and fights his way back to rock ‘n roll Heaven.”
I’ll believe it when I see it, but the full article over at 1UP.com has some speculation that might increase the validity of this rumor.

The character list for this Fall’s killer app for the Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, has been growing slowly and steadily, and today the latest announcement was made.
An anonymous Pokémon trainer will be a new character. Unlike the others so far, he will fight by playing the three original Pokémon, who the player will control and be able to change between at any given time: Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard. Interesting given that series staple Pikachu is his own character, but a fun twist nonetheless.
Add this to new characters like Pit from Kid Icarus, Ike from Fire Emblem, Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid, a young cel-shaded Link, Bowser Jr., Zero Suit Samus, rumors of a certain hedgehog, plus series mainstays, and we’ve a list totalling roughly fifteen. Earlier indications have pointed toward a roster of 40, so we’ve a long way to go.
